On
October 28, 2022, at hall 703 – E1 building, University of Law, Vietnam
National University, Hanoi (VNU) held the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Vietnam
Autumn Law Forum (VALF) and the Opening Workshop with the theme "Building
and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state and problems posed with
Vietnam's legal reform". The
workshop was attended by many leading experts and scholars and more than 250
delegates attended in person at the hall and online via Zoom. On the side of
the VNU University of Law was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh - Rector;
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trinh Tien Viet - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Trong Diep - Vice
Rector, and leaders of functional departments. In addition, the Forum also
attracted the attention of many press agencies to attend and report such as
Labor Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Education Newspaper, … Assoc.Prof.Dr.

at the opening of the workshop, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh would like to
thank the leaders of VNU, leaders of training institutions, representatives of
organizations who are partners of the School of Law, and all scholars, experts,
delegates, staff, lecturers, students, graduate students, postgraduates have
spent time attending the series of seminars and events of the 2nd Vietnam
Autumn Law Forum with the theme "Vietnamese Law: Integration and
Development". She affirmed that, with its responsibility and role as a
long-standing law training institution, the University is responsible for creating
forums to strengthen the connection between domestic and foreign researchers to
exchange and discuss new issues raised in legal life, which is the driving
force for the University to create the VALF. Following the success of the 1st
VALF, this year the Forum continues to introduce 06 extremely attractive
seminars around the content "Vietnamese Law: Integration and
Development". Concluding the speech, she wished the 2nd Vietnam Autumn Law
Forum a great success and hoped for a favorable start, success, and development
for the VNU
University of Law in the future.  Assoc.Prof.Dr.

Opening Ceremony of the Forum, the University of Law announced and launched the
Interim Committee of the Alumni Club of the University. Overview

Right after the Opening Ceremony, was the Thematic Seminar "Building and perfecting a socialist rule-of-law state and problems posed with Vietnam's legal reform". Within the framework of this seminar, many articles were presented by leading experts such as Prof.Dr. Dao Tri Uc with the article "Importance and issues raised in building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam in the new period"; Prof. Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh with the presentation: "Important new points in the Resolution TW6 on building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state and the tasks set for law training and research institutions in Vietnam"; Prof. Dr. Hoang The Lien with the presentation: "Orientation to perfect the legal system to meet the requirements of building and perfecting the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam ". To conclude, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh would like to express her sincere thanks for the participation and contribution of all delegates, students of the University, and other deleagates from other law training institutions.
